I worked at University of Missouri

    Pros

Flexibility, lots of professional development opportunities, great for passionate educators, opportunities for partnership building skills.

    Cons

Lots of travel if assigned several counties, not paid as well as academic faculty but then do not bear same responsibilities either.

I worked at University of Missouri part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Employers worked around class schedules very well. I worked for 4 years in different IT departments and all were well ran for the given resources.

    Cons

During the beginning and end of semesters it is a madhouse almost everywhere. Especially being a student while working can really stretch a person thin.

I worked at University of Missouri part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I had flexible hours and a great boss. The work environment was pleasant with computer access and plenty of resources.

    Cons

The only con that I can think of with my experience working for University of Missouri was that the pay was significantly less than if I had done the work freelance.

I worked at University of Missouri part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

On campus, understands student schedules and workloads, provides "homework jobs"
