    I had the chance to work in a challenging environment backed up with state of the art core facilities.

    Cons

    Unfortunateley, grant funding is not an easy business. Working in a field of innovative science that could make research easier is rewarding but unpublished results lead to under financing.

    I enjoyed being interviewed by qualified personnel at UdeM. If I get a job, I know I will be dealing with true educationists.

    Pros

    The courses are really good with a lot of options, the university is big but with a friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

    Winter is REALLY freezing (down to -40°C on the worst week) but remember that spring and summer can be really nice
