I have been working at University of Nebraska–Lincoln

    Pros

Vacation time - if you could take it

    Cons

The office of finance should be called the office of "how to be a crook". Look at the most recent report. There is little to no oversight - and the oversight they have is of the "sweep it under the rug" mentality.
Most of the colleges are run by pompous Deans with no real capability. They are led by the Office of Research - which is the office of "how can we siphon grant money".
Training is non-existent. Harassment is commonplace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Out with the old administration - find a group to refocus on research and education.
