    Pros

    - university is downtown - very high standard of living in Ottawa, yet acceptable pricing

    Cons

    - you don't get the typical student benefits - no typical employer benefits (pension, guaranteed sick days, additional health insurance) - slow administration - relatively small department but with singularly exceptional researchers

    Pros

Great way to lead a discussion group and grow skills like coaching, mentoring & communication

    Cons

A lot of pressure to pass high-paying international students even though some of them still struggle with english and do not understand the course content

    Advice to Management

Realize that passing through students whom should fail devalues courses and subsequently devalues the uottawa degrees students works so hard to achieve

    Pros

Good life-work balance Responsive staff, you will always find someone who will care about your administrative problems Many medium and high scholarships available

    Cons

There aren't many good initiatives to stimulate networking and exchange of knowledge You will not always find the best professors The general level of undergrad students is poor

    Advice to Management

I suggest you select your students more carefully. The working hours for the administrative staff are too short to accommodate employees' needs.
