    Pros

These are generally very cushy jobs- Penn is a bloated bureaucracy with limited accountability

    Cons

Rampant hypocrisy and rule bending, petty colleagues, low productivity or meaningful advancement opportunities. People in non-faculty jobs are in a different caste.

I have been working at University of Pennsylvania full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

As a researcher Penn is a wonderful place populated by extremely smart and talented individual that are usually open to share their ideas. Collaborations within different departments is not unusual and probably one of the thing that puts this university at the top with regards to research outputs and results.

    Cons

Sometime (often) interacting with the business offices personnel and their management can be frustrating due to slow response and lack of feedback on matters that are beyond a researcher call of duty.

    Recommends

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at University of Pennsylvania full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexibility ,many workers take advantage of it. They are able to bully other employees and management does nothing

    Cons

Ignorant workers, racist,no advancement favoritism, management plays employees against each other encourages tattling and other childish behaviors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Penn care at home its time to clean house. Get some professional level positions and stop having every black employee labeled clerical worker and promoting white employees that have less credentials then the minorities that work there because of the color of their skin or because of who they are related to.
