    Student Services Coordinator

Student Services Coordinator (Former Employee) Rancho Cordova, CA

ProsThe pay is fair and for the most part everyone gets along really well and it is a fun and inspiring environment to work in. Being around student is always fun, but Phoenix does offer a lot of staff events and other things to keep the ir employees motivated.

ConsThere is not a lot of room for growth. The other issue is that a lot of their campuses are closing so you do not really have job security.

Advice to Senior ManagementOffer more opportunities to grow within the company.

Working for University of Phoenix IT

Campus Technologist (Current Employee) Sacramento, CA

ProsEasy Job. The management is flexible with timeoff policy. The company looks out for employee wellbeing. Good working conditions for employees.

ConsVery little if any opportunity for growth. Very bad hiring practices and nepotism. Professional development is not available to local technicians.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide growth to the local Campus Technologists. Provide a path where they can move up to locally rather then moving to the main center in Arizona.

Bad pay, incompetent management, but free college.

    Services (Former Employee) Sacramento, CA

Pros100% Associates, Bachelors or Masters Degree tuition reimbursement to attend at University of Phoenix, regular catered food, no pre-employment drug screening.

Cons"Pride", horrible pay scale, little to no room for advancement, incompetent managers/leadership who also continue to hire incompetent employees and wonder why nothing works, budget is never done right leaving only money for "Enrollment" (sales reps) and extravagant marketing campaigns. Bottom line isn't the student and their educational achievements.

Advice to Senior ManagementFire the incompetent managers before they bring you down anymore or simply train them.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
