    Pros

Working in the Study Abroad Office allows you to share your international experiences with students that want to have their own. The staff is a great group of people, with amazing stories of their travels. Michael is a wonderful guy, a great boss, and creates a comfortable atmosphere for work.

    Cons

The only con working here was continually explaining how easy it is to study abroad, and professors telling students that they couldn't even though we have ways of sending students from every major to experience life abroad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the good work, find ways to promote earlier in students' careers, especially nursing and exercise science.

    Pros

Great work environment. Lots of different projects going at once. Very good benefits.

    Cons

Salary is low compared to corporate. Career growth is limited.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is too much upper management. I think you should flatten out the organizational structure.

    Pros

Mostly good people. The school itself has a strong moral character. One of the best food services at any university.

    Cons

Mostly awful educators. Poor decisions at the executive level that leave students in a difficult situation. Lack of trust and respect between faculty and students.

    Pros

Many departments work together, engaging in university community development. Our Jesuit Mission is important to all areas of our institution. We have just moderate turn-over, as many of our employees want to work here with out venturing out to places unknown. Beautiful campus, our grounds and maintenance groups are the best.

    Cons

We live in NEPA... where the weather is not at all predictable. Parking is a challenge, making errand runs almost impossible during lunch. Honestly, it's difficult to pull together much to complain about here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication and training seems to come up a lot in staff meetings.
