    Relevant and friendly media

Metallurgical and Materials Engineer (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsEasy access in friendly media while reasonable salary and very prestigious job. Dealing with variety of academician and industry fellows.

ConsBeing always updated while walking at the edge of science, commercialization of scientific findings. Shortness of research budget and lacking huge sponsor companies is now the generic challenge of researches in academic places even in the most well-known of them i.e. U of T.

Advice to Senior ManagementRelay on researches and researchers, THIS IS INVESTING.

    An amazing academic research institution.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsExcellent staff, reasonable pay, great opportunities for advancement (with the right supervisor), and access to a wealth of research resources. A beautiful campus located centrally in Toronto.

ConsAs with many academic institutions, junior positions do not offer high pay. Paperwork and forms can sometimes take a while, particularly for workers from outside the country, or non-students.
