    Great experience

PhD Student (Medical Sciences) (Current Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

Pros-Bright profs, very research friendly environment, lots of opportunities and collaborations (medical sciences)
-Great location in the middle of the city, Toronto is a very lively metropolis
-Prestigious institution, a sense of pride and very up-beat

Cons-Expensive living cost, especially given that you are paid the same as every other university in Canada that is located in small towns or in middle of no where
    -Some times competition becomes overwhelming

Advice to Senior Management-Increase graduate student stipend to at least keep pace with inflation!! In order to attract and not starve future bright minds

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Assistant Teacher

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsVery flexible, sounds good to say, get many connections, continue to learn music as you teach

ConsPay is horrible, students and other teachers can have bad attitudes

Advice to Senior ManagementRaise the pay if TAs and secretaries, also get main teachers to do their own phone calls since the secretary has too much work to do already

    Mixed review for graduate school

    MSC (Former Employee)
    Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsU of T is a nice University - right downtown with lots of amenities. As a grad student, it was great to have world renowned researchers and resources right at your fingertips.

ConsVery large, impersonal and political. Unfortunately I had a terrible supervisor, and myself and all of her grad students got lost in the system.
