    Pros

Lots of good interaction with professors and students.
A large community in which an intern can explore the field they think they are interested in with minimal risk.

    Cons

A bit of a stagnant atmosphere. The university is stuck using very old software solutions that seem to be coded by previous interns. A lot of functionality is unknown to current management, because the people who made the code have left without leaving documentation.
