    Pros

Good management, good work environment, good pay, care about their employees, top of the line interpreter services

    Cons

Nothing bad to say about U.W. Hospital & Clinics other than sometimes the interpreters doesn't have much time to travel from one clinic to another between appointments.

    Advice to Management

Tell your billing people that is rude to go in the middle of your emergency when you go to the E.R. to ask you if you have any health insurance.

    Pros

Awesome team work between nurses and support staff Great pay Decent work load Great hours(12hr shifts) Overtime available Free bus pass for the duration of your employment UWHC is a great place to work-but only if you're on the right unit(s) Rarely ran out of supplies

    Cons

TERRIBLE MANAGER!!! Difficult patients/patient load at times Made to feel incompetent, and belittled Singled out and hunted if manager didn't like you or you disagreed with her Way too much favoritism Unless you park off-site and take the bus, parking is HORRENDOUS to pay for, employees should NEVER have to pay to come to work

    Advice to Management

Get a grip on your managers!! After so many complaints, I would think that upper management would do something about employees being afraid of their superiors to the point of not wanting to come to work. Listen to your support staff and take action, they are the back bone of your organization!!!

    Pros

Fast paced and challenging environment depending on your location. The people are wonderful.

    Cons

Given an organization of their size, their wages and benefits could use improving. There are many other medical locations in Madison that offer significantly better wages.
