Pros
Good benefits, close to home, fun coworkers
Cons
The low pay - one time my yearly raise was only .23 cents, which was an insult. I had a very good review and I wished they would recognize my hard work. Also, when I started as a regular teller in 2001, I was making $8.40/hr. A few years later, I found out that they were paying new tellers about $10/hr. Same for new branch managers and cust service reps (the new hires would start out with more than the current employees were making, at times).
Advice to Senior Management
More realistic pay scales, such as a "living wage." They wonder why there's a high turnover rate in the branches - it's because you don't usually get recognized fairly for hard work, and you aren't paid a fair salary. I finally quit a few years ago because I needed to make more money.
