    Pros

    Good technical and products staff based out of RWC and Belfast

    Cons

    Products division won't exist in Openwave within the next 3 months No future whatsoever unless your in the Patents licensing division

    Advice to Management

    Could still have been great company, if the sales and products teams had been consulted more.

    Due to economical situation everyone get really stretched and playing multiple roles.

    the salary and compensation work flexiblity

    tough business climate provides lots of great lessons

    revolving door management, especially in senior engineering roles

    stop spreading money across all the cash cows. take some of the money stored in the bank and place a big bet.

    Flexible work conditions. Good salary and benefits.

    Cons

    Lack of true leadership at various levels of management. Internal communications within the company are not good. Too many silos by product and region. Too much many management levels.

    Flatten the management structure.

    - Smart people and good products - Good benefits - Nice office location with free gym facilities - Good customer base

    - Lack of growth opportunities - Lack of training - Need focus on few products and better execution of product strategy

    - Provide growth and training opportunities for employees - Management needs stronger technical leadership - Continue to innovate and focus on product quality

    Competitive salary, benefits package. Good onsite gym, outdoor pool. Cutting edge industry.

    Cons

    Not as much innovation (although some promising developments recently). Lofy ideas, with little execution. Too much executive churn in last 5 years.

    Pros

    Niche space, strong legacy, good work life balance, had options to work from home while meeting your goals

    Cons

    No real innovation,bad execution, inefficient R&D, no sense of direction/strategy from upper management

    Advice to Management

    cannot outsource your core strengths and need to do a much better job at execution while hiring more capable business managers. If they screw up, then the company is bound to go downhill.
