    Pros

The pay and benefits are OK.

    Cons

what is the point of working your tail off when no one appreciates your work? Seniority means NOTHING here. Management does NOT value their employees. Constantly reminding everyone that they can be "replaced" and should be grateful for their jobs. There is always a constant change in pay, position and work hours. They expect their employees to drop their personal lives on a dime and accommodate their needs with little to NO advance notice. HR SUCKS. they seems to NEVER respond to ANY employee inquires. there is no career growth here. everyone is out for them selves, if you're lucky you might get a good team lead who will train you properly, but after you're all on your own.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value your GREAT employees and get better upper management ie HR!

    Pros

Ability to transfer and learn about many different aspects of the mortgage industry. Health club membership is a good perk for FTEs.

    Cons

Lack of consistency with regards to most aspect of the business. Favoritism and double standards plague this company. Management is mostly absent and workers feel unappreciated and disrespected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find qualify executives and SVP to help shape a positive and collaborative culture.

    Pros

The people in the office were nice. Management was fairly flexible and did not micro-manage.

    Cons

Most employees seemed highly unhappy at their job; the compensation is NOT competitive; the office is in Erie, which is a hefty commute for anyone in Denver or south of it, which makes the pay issue even more difficult to handle; the job is mundane and repetitive with no room to take on more responsibilities or tasks; no sense of accomplishment, no incentive program, no team/company gatherings; benefits are mediocre at best. This is one of those jobs you go to day in and day out and ask yourself, why on earth am I still here!?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide an incentive program to motivate employees to want to perform better. Work on building office moral. Fairly compensate your employees with competitive wages.

    Pros

Great location in Broomfield, Colorado with amazing scenery, lots of parking, and newer buildings.

    Cons

It's tough to stay upbeat when you're surrounded by people unhappy with their jobs. Most of the unhappiness seems to be related to the company culture as well as the below average pay.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find a way to change the company culture and create more cohesion among the different departments. Company-wide meetings and events would be a great start.

    Pros

You've got to be kidding me. None.

    Cons

These guys are the biggest joke in the industry. Mandatory 9-hour days, mandatory every-other Saturday work schedule, (with 6am start), fluctuating mandatory work hours, zero-tolerance for more than 59 seconds of tardiness. Only 3 days off a year (Xmas, Thxgvng, NYD). All other holidays (Labor Day, Memorial Day, Columbus Day, 4th Of July, Easter et al), at straight-time pay (i.e. no time-and-a-half holiday pay). Disconnected, misinformed and brutal office policy management. Inhumane "office slavery" guidelines. Crappy pay. Threatening fear tactics, (i.e. constant threats of termination by the smallest mistakes and/or lack of mandatory workflow numbers required by management). MASSIVE layoffs of entire departments at a steady rate. All quantity and absolutely NO quality. Chinese sweatshop workers get treated better than this. You'd be happier, be better treated, and receive more benefits flipping burgers at the local McDonald's.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You will achieve better, satisfying and MORE results by treating employees with RESPECT, DIGNITY and allowing freedom to use their own judgement and work ethics. Any good reviews you read about this company are plants and/or fakes. The 100+ negative reviews speak for themselves.

    Pros

Benefits upon hire. Able to stay in same team with current manager. Same job. Same hours. Nice building, love the area.

    Cons

They took over loan servicing from BAC. Once they took over we were advised of having to work every 5th Sat/Sun as business needs demanded. 5am to 12pm. 6.5 hours with a floating day during that week. You also have to make up that 1.5 hours you lose in pay. Worked it during the week added to normal schedule. In the state of California if you work over 8 hours a DAY you have to receive overtime. They broke the law and some how tagged it on to the Saturday I worked. Very little notice. Advised if we worked Memorial day we would receive double time. After working Memorial day it was ooops our mistake. No double time. You get a floater day. They then hired 60 new hires for our collection dept and put some of them in underwriting. never offered the position to any people on the floor. Little or no communication from upper management. Stress is very high. Bonus date keeps changing. With no regard to our own financial needs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate your employees. Especially the ones with years of experience. Do not hire 'trainees' at a higher rate of pay and except no one will find out. Advance your experienced employees before new hires. Remember we are human beings not robots.

    Pros

Co-workers, benefits package to support my family

    Cons

Executive leadership is disconnected from what is going on on the floor. The accounts are promised a level of work from the existing work force and the workers have to increase production, learn new systems and sometimes at a decrease of pay. No room for growth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to graciously manage people. Telling your team that they are lucky to have their jobs and that there are a lot of people that will take it is no way to encourage and motivate the retained workforce.
