    Pros

Working at USU is so great! The pay and benefits are better than many Logan companies. With education being a top priority, they are always willing to work around class schedules.

    Cons

The only real downsides are paying for and finding parking and hourly people losing pay on holidays. But you'll get that anywhere.

    Advice to Management

It would be nice if individual departments were allowed to have more control over the perks they can offer to employees, such as paid holidays.

    Pros

Great work environment. The university provides all its workers with necessary tools to succeed. The institution makes their employees feel valued.

    Cons

The university could increase the benefits of its employees. It also should review some housing policies that are updated and that not take into account the different ethnicities living on campus.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the demands and needs of residents. Improve the package of benefits for employees. Increase the number of interesting academic activities on campus.

    Pros

Good quality of education, the house rent is cheap. Compared to bigger cities, it is cost effective.

    Cons

High pressure. Sometimes lack of quality researchers to talk to. Does not give you good environment in terms of peer pressure.

    Advice to Management

Have more close knit campus. So, you can talk to each other more and share ideas more easily.

It's research so there isn't a wrong answer. Open minded individuals to work with and a lot of fun.
Wonderful at working with my schedule during school.

    Cons

The pay isn't amazing, but you're an undergrad so deal with it.

    Pros

Positive students and campus environment, research-friendly, colleagues. Very useful library.

    Cons

For some, the location (north Utah) may NOT be the destination they had in mind. Of course, for others, this may well be a plus.

    Advice to Management

More opportunities for professional growth/training. In general, things are very informal; if you reach out, you can learn a lot, but you have to build your learning on your own.

    Pros

It is a casual work environment, active learning with all projects, and the professors were great to work with. My degree has set me up fairly well to enter the job market.

    Cons

Small town that does lack some of the activities of larger cities. Hour and a half drive to Salt Lake. Not many good bars and main street traffic can be bad.

    Advice to Management

I had a good experience throughout. The graduate school was very helpful throughout my degree. My department was flexible with some tough circumstances came up. Keep it up!
