Contract company concerned on earning management money, not you.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsYou are left alone to do your work, mostly.

ConsNot concerned about employee development, they are more concerned about growing their contracts. Low pay and no real benefits and tried to bog down work with frequent unnecessary updates.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease pay and provide benefits and then workers might stay longer.

    Feel like just a number

    Tier I Advisor (Current Employee)
    San Antonio, TX

ProsIts not hard to do iOS troubleshooting. Pretty simple job all in all

ConsThe point system is bogus. The insurance is hella expensive and offers coverage to their network doctors so good luck with that. So working 40 hrs a week, no insurance, and a shoddy point system means if you get really sick, and you can't get a doctors note, you get a point or 2 points on the weekend. And that's when you feel like just a number. Just a disposable number.

Advice to Senior ManagementJust keep doing what you're doing with work but seriously consider revising this cut throat, iron hold on attendance or you will push away those who are a valuable asset.

Very good experience with the company

    Senior Program Manager (Current Employee)
    Redmond, WA

ProsThe vendor contract position I got from VMC is well compensated and the company has provided satisfactry supports. The stress level, compared to the one I got from the position where I was FTE, is much much lower than FTE position and pay level is comparable or slightly better even though other benefits such as medical are lagging just a bit But overall, I recommend the company to look for contact positions in IT field.

ConsNegotiating pay level with the company is tough but it is not just with this compay. You have to prove you are worthy enough to ask for raise.
