    Pros

    - Flexibility to develop your role based on your customer requirements. - Excellent team of resources available internally to make you successful. Brought in resources from many different groups, and always been impressed with their representation of the company and skill level. VMware hires many experienced, seasoned, professionals. - Great work/life balance. - Excellent team of technical account managers fully supported in the on boarding process, and getting you up to speed.

    Cons

    - Many new employees. Seems like the average is less than 2 years. That said everyone seems to be highly experienced in the professional services, and account teams. - Takes time to build relationships internally, and find which resources you require. - Good and bad; the product suites are becoming more complicated and it can be challenging to stay up to speed on training on them. - Interview process can be grueling and lacking in follow up communication. Many phone interviews which are sometimes redundant in the questions asked.

    Advice to Management

    - Acquisitions should be fully vetted and rebranded before making them a VMware product and releasing them for general availability. Many acquisitions seem to be the more problematic solutions when it comes to customer integration.

    Pros

Open work culture, pay benefits ( i bet if not better but no less than top 2-3 big names in industry), Weekly lunch and fully stock kitchen (snacks). Opportunity to work in some cutting edge technologies in very early stage.

    Cons

Internal team movements. Team building events like team outing.

    Pros

Decent compensation, Bonus, Good work life balance. Startup-like work and lot of opportunities to learn, surrounded by deeply knowledgeable co-workers

    Cons

No/very less hikes. Lot of Randomization at work, no focussed priorities for individual developers, no mentor programs for budding software engineers. Absolutely no care for the career growth and personal development of the employees. Lacks team morale and enthusiastic work environment

    Advice to Management

Need a process oriented team environment and people who are properly trained in management to minimize the chaos at work and treat employees well.

    Pros

-Salary -Thurdays free lunch - Snacks on floor - Work life balance (Depending on teams offcourse)

    Cons

I would say in this location (Bellevue), Its heavily weighed with upper management. A single hitler on force bogging down people to get things done in abrupt yelling fashion.

    Advice to Management

Please respect your employee. Stop yelling.
