Put more emphasis on team building activities, sales enablement and better compensation plans through the reseller channel.

Continue to invest in the employees and their development
Review pay to make sure employee's pay are up to par with industry - VMware is doing well

- Customer Operations and Finance is without leadership and experience - although VMW is a products company with great engineering - business operations execution and financial management is extremely weak
- Lack of teamwork and corporate culture

Eliminate the Office of the President and hire an experienced leader to motivate the troops - both engineering and sales.

Change managers and go for experienced and fair people. You will get the best of your people if you pay them and treat them fairly

- Performance evaluation does not allow reportees to feedback on manager
Advice to Senior Management
Continue the push to enable employees to innovate and contribute to the ecosystem, both inside and outside. Please enable people in non-US countries to contribute as much as the ones on the US campus.

in the beginning it was supportive of driving and implementing best practices

new management came in which resulted in mass lay-offs and openings for growth taken

Got to throw or been thrown under the bus. Only way to get ahead is at other's expense. Not about the value you provide and qaulity of work. HR is just a joke.
