VT Griffin: Extremely high employee turnover rate.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Alpharetta, GA

ProsExcellent health and benefits. Headquarters is located in Alpharetta, GA, outside of the busy Atlanta area, but still surrounded by affordable housing and nice shopping areas. Employees are great

ConsEmployment uncertainty. VT Griffin Services is the poorest performer of the VT Services group of firms (Griffin, Milcom and Aepco). Technical writers were let go 30 days after everyone was told at a communication luncheon that there were no plans for cuts. They were replaced with high priced project-specific Shipley consultants. No significant contract wins in the past several years.

Advice to Senior ManagementCut down on entertainment expenses. Extremely high employee turnover rate, especially of key senior positions, is an indicator of a big problem. This is known by VT Services management in the US, but they have failed to properly address; fortunately, the UK senior management group to be listening..
