I have been working at Vaco full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great vendor company to work for. It's better than previous contract companies I've been with, so I'm very please with them. I think it depends where you're placed, but you can get holidays. Great program manager who plans a lot of fun team activities. You're also allowed to look for other opportunities within Vaco, and transfer to other locations.

    Cons

No 401k matching, wish there was more paid time off

    Pros

They allow unlimited contract with no period where you have to take a leave.

    Cons

Pretty much only lateral movement with the company disguised as promotions.

    Advice to Management

Offer better benefits packages sine your employees are pretty much full-time.

    Pros

Interview was fun and great. Team environment is excellent. In general, it is nice to work with people around you.

    Cons

On boarding process is terrible if they have one. Did not get any detail orientation+payroll system+payroll access on the first day. Keep sending wrong log-in information. slow process to fix the problems; Tried to contact anyone with phone, no one is answering, only email back and forward but it takes several days to get answers. As a result, payment is being delayed due to not submitting the timecard on time; which I did not have access? working for wks but not getting paid on time....So wrong

    Advice to Management

Make sure the on boarding process is ready on the first day with correct information. Needs someone to answer the phone to solve the problems even weekend.

    Pros

The working 4 days of the week for 40 hours. And the 3 day weekend. The task was very easy at hand.

    Cons

The time I've worked there, there was a legitimate office just working in a hospital old cafeteria room. I wasn't given directed instructions on how everything will be set up.

    Advice to Management

be more specific of what expextend for the employee to do.

    Pros

I failed to find one thing.

    Cons

Office environment was sickening. Yelling and cursing was rampant The team puts off a great perception in the market but internally they treat people with no respect. The office needs governing from headquarters. The problem is headquarters has no say because the managers here in the office own part of the office. So they do whatever.

    Advice to Management

Learn to manage the human race and not berate them, as if you are a better person. The whole experience was a waste of effort. Advice, don't act all professional when you clearly are not professionals. No career path at all. You are hired to make the owners money or leave.
