“It was a good experience, with excellent salary, but much too stressful.”

Pros – Salary and benefits.
Small facility, so there was opportunity to know every employee.
Cons – There was always a fear of who would be the next person to be laid off or fired.
Advice to Senior Management – Need to improve communication with employees, making it more frequently and more detailed.

“A great place to work!”
Current Employee – been working at Valley General Hospital
Pros – Family atmosphere. Friendly employees. Easy commute. Great Pay. Everyone really enjoys working here and it shows in how they treat patients and other employees.
Cons – It is a smaller community so you can see patients that you know. They do get confused with Valley Medical Center which is in Renton. Very different place.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep doing a great job. This is a fun place to work and I have enjoyed my time here. I hope the forward growth continues.

“Awful”
Current Employee – been working at Valley General Hospital part-time for more than 3 years
Pros – There are no pros. Horrible work environment.
Cons – Negative atmosphere, employee hostility and anger toward management is out of control. Patient care is sub par.
Advice to Senior Management – Start fresh.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
