Pros – Niche company that focuses IT services for Insurance and Finance markets. Lot of focus on new technology and domain. Founders of the company are very creative and dedicated towards Insurance practise. Employee friendly and fair.

Cons – Not all projects are challenging. Company has several skilled employees from great backgrounds who are not challenged because of earlier point. Company does not want to diversify into other areas like datawarehouse, BI, and consulting.

Advice to Senior Management – feedback and communication with employees onsite should be improved. Management think they are a small company but my opinion we are doing lot more than what we think. think big always!

I worked at ValueMomentum as a contractor for less than a year

Pros – Good insurance clients to work with. Good billing rates.

Cons – Got job as a contractor. However VM reneged on the contract and asked me to wait until they hear from the client since their client postponed the start date. I had given a notice , by then, that I will vacate the apartment. VM never got back to me and their HR/Recruiters would not return my calls. I was without any apartment in this case and had to then live in a hotel for a month until I found a new place to live. I deem them as unprofessional and just using people to fulfill their business needs.

Advice to Senior Management – Please improve your professionalism and dont be a yes man to your clients. Learn to push back. Dont use people because your clients gives you big and fat dollars.

Smart people and strong work ethic
Challenging environment and career driven roles
Like a small family ..

Cons – Scheduling constraints
Travel more than normal

Advice to Senior Management – Great job at driving the organization to these heights. More people with broad based leadership skills need to be recruited for scaling across multiple accounts.

Great technologies
No third parties

Cons – Terrible pay
Need to be ready to travel if you want to keep up your growth options open.

one or two projects are good to work with... just for sheer learning..

Cons – time warped in the old high school mentality...
highly conservative company...
bad salary.....
no processes in place.. all adhoc...
hire and fire ...
NOT EMPLOYEE FRIENDLY...
SHEER EXPLOITATION OF RESOURCES...
micro management at all levels...
especially for people coming from big MNCs.. you do not fit in this mess..

Cons – Opportunities are limited due to size of the company

Pros – Good, friendly work culture. Compensation in line with most top companies. Top management is very involved in the day-to-day matters at a project, (which is sometimes an overkill.) Believes in process and methodologies to arrive at successfull outcomes.

Cons – It's a typical consultancy firm, so there is some amount of travel / relocation required. Does not seem to have the market presence and brand image even though have very skilled professionals working for them. There is no visibility at times as to what is going to happen in the next 6 months.

Pros – Nice place to work... talent can be grown up... a lot of things to learn.
Now planning to become level 5 company...
many insurance specialists are in this company.

Cons – facilities to employees like cab, food etc..
less salary..
