Pros – Collegial, high level work, great location
Cons – It is cold in the winter
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – The people. Every day it is enjoyable to come to work because you know you will be treated respectfully by those above you on the totem pole, and treated nicely by those technically below you.
The office building itself is also quite a nice place. The location is a little odd in the sense you can't really walk to any good restaurants, but it's a modern landmark building with an excellent view of the city. Easy, convenient parking in the lower 1/4 of the building.
Cons – The pay does not compare favorably to other, larger markets. Of course, the cost of living is much cheaper in Grand Rapids -- but probably not enough to make up for the large gap in pay.
Advice to Senior Management – N/A
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Well known and respected firm (locally)
Some of the staff and attorneys are nice
Impressive client intake floor
Cons – Politics
Lack of transparency
Failure to communicate expectations
Underpaid, for the amount of work required
Advice to Senior Management – Even though your employees dont "bring in the dollars" the work doesn't get done on it's own. We deserve respect and feel unappreciated.
