I have been working at Varsity Brands full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The flexible hours and ability to set your own schedule can be great. It's great knowing that the company stands behind their products 100%.

    Cons

The hours can be very long given that most appointments occur after school or in the early evenings. The long drive times can be challenging as well.

    Advice to Management

Better maternity leave coverage would be extremely helpful.

    Pros

People who are passionate about creating a great product upholding brand value towards customers.

    Cons

Watch your back! People will throw you under the bus in an instant. Micromanagement is horrible within the office environment. Creative employees are not encouraged to grow, but stay at same level company currently is. Company is behind in design software they use.

    Advice to Management

    Let your employees soar.

I worked at Varsity Brands part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

By far the best way to get work experience during the summer. Everyone is friendly, upper management is easily approachable, and you truly make a difference for the campers.

    Cons

The only con would be if you were trying to use this as a full time career. The pay would be low compared to other full time jobs.
