I have been working at Veeam Software full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

If you are willing to work hard you will be rewarded. Best software in the industry and they treat their employees very well. Benefits are great and start day one! There is always money to be made but you have to work for it. Decent entry level salary and generous commission payouts. Fun company to work for and it is for the most part a laid back atmosphere. Minimum amount of drama, most people are team players and everyone looks out for each other. Plenty of fun events including happy hours and kickoff.

    Cons

Everything is constantly being restructured and results in chaos. Management is too over bearing at times. Thing are enforced and forgotten weeks later.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to reward the people who earn it and get rid of the people who complain and don't pull their weight. Be consistant with policy's and procedures. Approval for incentives, promotions, and changes within in the work place tend to take too long.

I have been working at Veeam Software full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The software is the best I have seen. Hours are defined with very little extra time required so no overtime.

    Cons

Management. Use your years of experience to develop the young team members to become effective. Too many management meetings, too many times a new process is rolled out only to be forgotten in a few weeks when the next great idea comes up.

The only roles that count are the outside reps and they are mostly milking the company. Twice the pay and half the number as the Inside. Good ole boy favoritism at its finest.

If you need a job and it is this or food stamps, take it but be warned.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Open your eyes are realize where the majority of the revenue is generated and adjust accordingly. Too many good people have been released and others are looking to get out of the company. Stop losing good talent unless you are installing revolving doors and you are happy with that.

HR polices have turned this into a unfriendly work environment, kinda feels like a prison camp.

    Pros

It was a good opportunity when I started with high hopes. Made a decent wage, got good experience and was promoted.

    Cons

Then the truth set me free. Management is a joke and didn't know a thing about selling or how to treat people fairly. Clock in clock out and bang the phone all day long. And inside team competes with outside team. Run run run from this company since they will use you and then spit you out.

I worked at Veeam Software full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

When joining this organization there was a lot of promise. The product is widely known and activity was high. There are many colleague I love working with.

    Cons

Initial high activity and sales has turned into a stale offering. Upper management seems to be a bit delusional on what they feel the potential is. The rate of innovation has slowed and quotas are very high in the sales area. Not the highest paying organization out there either.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring your quotas to a reasonable level
Focus on making your product enterprise ready because today it is not.

I have been working at Veeam Software full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

I have worked in small, medium, and large corporations and in none of those did I get the 'small town' feel from a global leader. At all levels and from support to sales I have seen the same enthusiasm and drive that has pushed Veeam up from a niche company.

If you have the drive, there are plenty of opportunities and growth paths to follow, and management is willing and able to help you reach for those goals.. and as Veeam expands, they hire from within. Training was provided, encouraged, and expected.

    Cons

Be ready for the fast pace! Entry level salary is modest, but once you 'pay your dues' things get interesting very quickly.. Ramp-up is steep, so be prepared to ingest a lot of information as well as learn on the fly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If at all possible, keep the 'small town' feel even as Veeam grows!

I have been working at Veeam Software

    Pros

This is the company momentum. Product is good. Not much more to say, hope the managent realize whats going on and correct the events, otherwise you're doomed to robots, not thinking employees.

    Cons

It is a hell to get an appropiate compensation plan not to say you have to check every time that you got paid accordingly to what you sold.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look out for under-the-carpet business... Some managers are very suspicious...
