    Pros

Great Experience working at a major hotel resort and casino.

    Cons

They don't care about their employees at all. Your personal life does not exist. The casinos never close so you will be giving up your weekends, holidays, and there will be times where you will be working 14 - 18 days straight.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees much better, this way you will not have such high turnover.

    Pros

Awesome team, great benefits, good perks, good budgets to work with on projects, autonomous management styles, interactions with different aspects of marketing.

    Cons

Work environment is not ideal, old fashioned values, some marketing departments not always willing to try new things, not much room for growth within the creative department.

    Advice to Management

Willingness to try new and creative ideas, stop sticking to old traditions and templated practices, be more open minded, continue to care about work-life quality.

    Pros

Free meals. Fully paid insurance benefits. 401k matching.

    Cons

Just a few years ago, when you tell people you worked at the Venetian, you are immediately praised and envied. Because the property was sought after and it was so hard to get in. Now, they would hire "has beens" from other companies and/or their college buddies to fill in their corporate positions to "revamp" the property, "fix" the problem and just get rid of everyone that have been there from the beginning- loyal employees that helped the property succeed to it's high status. Well not anymore. You can tell by walking around the property. It's not what it used to be. Everyone is always scared that their going to be let go any minute. There is always new management threatening to clean up the department, fire everybody and hire their friends. It is sad. All the cons that you read here are pretty much on point.

    Advice to Management

HR- when you get a notice that some new manager wants to let go of somebody in their team for no real reason- INVESTIGATE. Look at their personal file and see for yourself if this person has been loyal and has performed well. Look at their attendance, records, promotion, good camaraderie with coworkers etc. Because at the end of the day, think about who you're going to fire and who's firing them. Is it all worth it? You're seriously going to listen to newbie who always turns out to be a jerk anyway. Think about maybe placing that person somewhere else so they don't lose their job. Help them out before you kick them off the street. Have a heart if Sands really cares.

    Pros

Strong executive level management, stability, great coworkers, lots of opportunity for advancement.

    Cons

In the past the benefits and perks were much better, but even after scaling them back, the benefits are much better than what most employers offer.

    Advice to Management

Upper management is great, as long as Adelson is in charge, this will be a strong company. However, they should pay middle-managers more money to attract better candidates for those jobs. The current middle-managers are very weak.

    Pros

The Venetian and Palazzo treats their team members like royalty! 2 meals a day for FREE! FREE medical, vision, and dental benefits for team members and their family members!

    Cons

I honestly can't think of any cons. If you get the job done, treat guest like royalty, you pretty much have a job

    Pros

    Offers great benefits and pay.

    Cons

A toxic corporate culture with a silo'ed mentality. People do not work together. They spend time trying to get one another fired. As a highly regulated industry, the company is almost crippled to do anything quickly. Not a place a person hopes to spend a majority of his or her career.

    Pros

Good benefits provided, including free meals in the employee dining room. The insurance covered your whole family also including relatives.

    Cons

Shaky Management was very inexperienced in the merchandise of my store. There were unclear sales goals and expectations and advanced was very arbitrary.

    Advice to Management

Better product training and communication between upper management, middle management and the associates so that the customer can have a consistent interaction.
