Pros
Great technology. Good upside potential financially. Networking with some influential execs through this c-level sales pitch. Working with powerhouse partners helps build many potential relationships for the future.
Cons
Immature market - uphill selling. We may have missed the window of opportunity because the leadership team was more focused on flipping the company than they were on gaining market share. They were a real "me too" group of followers.
Advice to Senior Management
Stop trying to sell the company and focus on running it. For gods sake, please learn to communicate with the troops. The senior team is absolutely not trusted by anyone. It's the textbook boy's club and very few are in it. Everyone else is on their own.
Pros
-Access to resources to be successful at your job
-Interesting market, important customers
-Good salary
Cons
-Terrible upper management (or misleading about objectives)
-Loss of customer base (sinking ship)
-Poorly planned software development creates problems for all areas in the company.
Advice to Senior Management
It's probably too late to fix the product without massive development effort.
