    Pros

Great benefits and fun work environment. I love working for Product house in QA. Exciting new products are about to hit the market so fun times ahead. lots of vacation time and flexible work schedule

    Cons

No cons to speak of. Product house is a great well run dept with excellent leadership and co-workers fun to work with. No complaints. maybe more promotion opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees and promote more from within.

    Pros

Lots of middle management in constant meetings

    Cons

You simply cannot make money in sales at Verint. Commission rates are tiny and quotas high. Ask them to show you a copy of comp plan and how many reps are making their number. This company has moved to a bottom line company that isn't concerned about top line. It's all about expenses, cutting costs, cutting commissions. No concern whatsoever for customer satisfaction, just how to get another dollar out of them. Really sad that they've gone so far down.

    Advice to Management

Need leadership that has concern about customer satisfaction and doesn't mind paying for top performers. Otherwise sales talent will continue the exodus.

    Pros

A software leader in an emerging space. The vision is compelling. Building a portfolio of products. Good pay.

    Cons

Poor execution from sales, HR processes systems and training, acquisition integration (everyone leaves), and product development (causing unhappy customers). Benefits are minimal and investment in people is also very minimal. High turnover in leadership and sales and growing in professional services. Problems in software sales execution (leadership??).

    Advice to Management

Substantial turnover. Management needs to address the reasons why there is so much turnover. (see cons). Invest in your people.

    Pros

You do get a company lunch on Wed. Outside of that I am not sure what to write.

    Cons

This place is ran by a bunch of rookies that have no leadership skills and have no idea what they are doing it is a $1B startup. Everyone at the ground level is held extremely accountable but no one else above them. We burn our customers every few years with our product role outs and the only one who pays the price is the field. Rumor has it that the new 11.2 release is a MAJOR upgrade and suppose to be worst then the 11 upgrade so be prepared. It should of been a 12 release but they don't want to scare people. The sales people are great but the GM is full of himself. He is always sending out rah rah news letters and treats everyone like they are idiots and bad mouths about his entire team to each other. They ask employees to go into Glassdoor and post POSITIVE reviews and follow up with certain employees to make sure they have. So if you are looking at this company ask the person hiring you if they have been asked to post here. I would look at other companies with better leadership, infrastucture and support and run from this one! If you do go work here be prepared to be treated as if you are an idiot and for the executieves to talk bad about you every chance you get.

    Advice to Management

Try being accountable as well and stop blaming everyone for your mistakes. Stop bad mouthing employees and try to release some good products that don't upset every customer out there making the feet on the streets lifes impossible. I would also fire some of the leadership and start at the top not the bottom that is not the issue. The leadership team is FULL of itself and they have NO respect for sales people especially.

    Pros

The strategy and market of products are both very good. There is rich opportunity if you can sell complex, large scalel transactions. Presales team is very good and highly capable to communicate solution value. Strong sellers make really good to great money. Bottom line, if you get up work every day and learn how to sell strategy you will make very good money. Seven figure income definitely possible because you can sell eight figure transactions! Value are very good. Having worked at large ERP company I can tell you they are a lot more employee focused and provide equity for good long time contributors.

    Cons

Lots of change due to acquisitions and evolving focus of the company. Systems and processes are not what you would expect for $1B company. Services needs work. Not a lot of time or money spent developing employees. You have to figure out a lot on your own.

    Advice to Management

Invest in systems and people and company will grow faster.

    Pros

Company has done several acquisitions which create opportunity to learn and grow. Always something new to focus on and learn. Good markets for products and huge customer base to sell into. Management listens and does good job of correctly bad decisions quickly. Company is fairly employee focused - free lunches, great equity program for those who perform and reasonable work-personal life balance.

    Cons

Change intensive environment. If you just want to keep doing what you have been for past 5 years and not be bothered, this is not place for you. Changes will keep coming in order for company to grow. Need better and more training programs to help employees keep up with change and grow.

    Advice to Management

Focus on Human Resources and Product Quality. Both a key to growth and need further investment to ensure long term growth and adaptation to change.

    Pros

The products have a good future in the market. Lunch is provided once a week, employees are nice, they encourage donations to outside organization in needs. Pay is ok.

    Cons

Career is immobile. Poor training, no work life balance or internal advancement for honest workers. Current management is incompetent and rude, and if one person in management dislikes you , you are guaranteed to never advance because management stick together against employees no matter how good the employee(s) is or are. Prior management years ago was way better.

    Advice to Management

Advice to CEO , replace all VP and SVP with good respectful and quality upper management.

    Pros

Can make OK money if you have the right accounts and territory. But every year they try to pay less.

    Cons

Every since they brought a new GM in North America there has been constant change and lack of trust from the employees to the company. They preach transparency and caring about the employee but the team now in place does not care at all about the employees they just want to get rich and then they claim they do everything and the employees are idiots. When you leave be sure you get your expenses and comp paid out first as they tend to not pay you as you move on. The new GM is constantly looking at how to not pay rather than reward even though he says that.

    Advice to Management

Stop only focusing on yourself and walking on employees. It is great to want to drive profits but without realistic expectations or the right systems and process you put everything on the backs of the workers. I am not sure the new blood really gets it and they are constantly speaking out of both sides of their mouths. Management does not take input or criticism well they can march in one direction even though completely wrong and then blame the workers. The CEO Dan is good the next couple layers down are questionable.
