    Pros

I never worked for Verizon Wireless. I worked for the Verizon Center, but this keeps putting Verizon Wireless. So I have to do this.

    Cons

There were no cons for working at the Verizon Center. It had great people to work with and work for.

    Advice to Management

My advise would be to get into the Verizon center at any position and then transfer to what you really want to do if its not available

    Pros

Market leader. Exposure to mass-market consumer services. Scale to do big things.

    Cons

Moving up takes hard work and perseverance. People can be direct - appreciated by some, challenging for others.

    Pros

Fast paced sales environment. Not a lot of down time, constantly engaged. Great benefits including health and 401K. Ability to make $50,000/yr + if your willing to hustle.

    Cons

It became more about selling accessories than phones. Had to push customers, sometimes uncomfortably, into buying extras. Commission structure changed often to make it more difficult to make a good deal of money.

    Advice to Management

Bring the focus back to customers interest instead of just stuffing their bags with whatever you can. Management pretty much encouraged you to send customers away if they were not buying a smartphone with 3 or more accessories.

    Pros

The money is not bad, around 38k plus bonuses. You can succeed if you are hungry and get some results.

    Cons

Hard to move up, stressful job, no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the employees instead of the surveys, and in return the employees will get their numbers up.

    Pros

Pay is great, Great benefits, training is good.

    Cons

horrible work/life balance, management does not care about all the tasks they put on your list for the day. You have to do everything they ask as well as help on the sales floor every day.

    Advice to Management

I feel that upper management should take some time and spend a day in the employees shoes. Especially those who do not have have any sales experience.

    Pros

Team is cool, paid sick, vacation, and personal time off. Great work environment with teammates

    Cons

No work/life balance, hours are crazy, hard to get days off micromanagement, fighting over sales little to no training once in store you learn on your own. Commissions are all over the place and unreasonable. You have to lie to get sales

    Advice to Management

Stop being greedy. The money comes in don't force employees to over sale the customer especially if you know they can't afford it
