    Pros

    - Sometimes people bring their pets - Some of the most amazing and hard working people I have ever met

    Cons

    - Poor and hostile environment to work - Extremely poor management (top to bottom) - No raises, bonuses are not honored - No career growth opportunities, no employee development programs - No company events

    Advice to Management

Get back to what you are good at (Pharma and Sales) and leave running a digital shop to pros.

    Pros

The compensation was competitive. The team was composed of dedicated, friendly, hard working individuals who believed in teamwork and worked well together. The work was very interesting and challenging. The team functioned well with respect to helping one another and knowledge sharing. The opportunity to learn on the job was great!

    Cons

Benefits seemed about average with respect to health and dental. 401K matching was below average. Work life balance was variable. About half the month there would be a huge amount of work and people were expected to put in whatever it took to complete a job, while the other half of the month tended to be more relaxed and closer to 40 hr. weeks. A large layoff occurred at the turn of the year which was very disappointing. However, companies sometimes need to take drastic action for the greater good, and Vetstreet is not the first or only company to take such measures during difficult times.

    Advice to Management

There were areas of single source dependencies which needed to be addressed in order to make work-life balance more reasonable for some employees. Do more to grow the business.

    Pros

Company offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, providing excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth. Opportunities for advancement are available and staff is often promoted from within. Employees are extremely hard-working and dedicated, with a “team” mindset and approach. They constantly strive to meet or exceed company goals and objectives, aspiring to ensure that the company maintains its place as the unequivocal leader in its field.

    Cons

Certain processes could be more efficient. This has been identified by Senior Management and plans are in place to improve them.

    Pros

    Casual work environment, hard-working people

    Cons

Worst company I have ever worked for. No one in management cares about the staff. Everything is deadline driven. People are not given enough time to learn the company. Overwhelming amount of work.

    Advice to Management

Care about the employees and not just about the bottom line. Listen to staff. Hire adequate number of employees to handle workloads. Train staff. Give people a reason to stay...
