    Pros

    Company offers a challenging and rewarding work environment, providing excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth. Opportunities for advancement are available and staff is often promoted from within. Employees are extremely hard-working and dedicated, with a “team” mindset and approach. They constantly strive to meet or exceed company goals and objectives, aspiring to ensure that the company maintains its place as the unequivocal leader in its field.

    Cons

    Certain processes could be more efficient. This has been identified by Senior Management and plans are in place to improve them.

    I worked at Vetstreet full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Casual work environment, hard-working people

    Cons

    Worst company I have ever worked for. No one in management cares about the staff. Everything is deadline driven. People are not given enough time to learn the company. Overwhelming amount of work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Care about the employees and not just about the bottom line. Listen to staff. Hire adequate number of employees to handle workloads. Train staff. Give people a reason to stay...

    I have been working at Vetstreet full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    None that I can think of...

    Cons

    * Turnover is very high.

    * They hire people and they are gone in a few days, weeks, or months. Management always has an excuse and say the person was "fired", "let go", or the person could not handle the fast pace environment.

    * VCA has no clue that Vetstreet management is trying to create problems and point the finger at them.

    * VCA benefits are terrible.

    * Who are all these ex-lost-their-job-at-Medimedia staff that are now Vetstreet executives?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to focus on my job, but all I hear from management is that someone else is the problem for the year and half delay to integrate with VCA. Usually the finger is pointed at VCA, MediMedia, or someone who left. At what point do you become the problem?

    I have been working at Vetstreet

    Pros

    Hard workers/dedicated, nice office, some flexibility with start/end times, laptops and blackberrys (which means they get you anywhere though), growing fast.

    Cons

    Expected to work 65+ hours per week, management wants to fire anyone who says anything they don't like, company can not get its act together - many many mistakes - if clients only knew - wheww, growing too fast and they are taking jobs we can not commit to completing in time or accurately, hostile work environment because management makes you fear losing your job all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    people are stressed at this company, open your eyes - good people are leaving - need to stop taking jobs you can not handle.
