    Pros

Discount was good. That's about it.

    Cons

This was the worst management I have ever worked with. Disorganized and lazy. They ruined my experience. We all got a raise but shortly were all laid off. Worst place to work.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores

    Pros

I loved the atmosphere and all the staff were lovely to work with. I actually saw myself going to bigger and better things within the company

    Cons

Not as many hours due to overstaffing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't hire so many workers just a few sturdy, dependable workers!

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Free stuff - incentives to do well. Great training - managers really care about helping you move up in the company. The company cares about its employees and the community, encouraging each store to get involved in its own community.

    Cons

Working in a store full of women should be enough said. Women get catty at times with some "she said, she said" types of situations. You have to make an effort to stay out of the drama.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Your teammates are fantastic, training on new products for elevated associates was very detailed, constant newness

    Cons

company values, inconsistent communication and directives from management, great employees go unrewarded or even punished, increasingly limited opportunity for advancement, strong emphasis on credit card sales, does not value a work-life balance

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more consistent with your standards and communication, treat your employees like humans instead of credit card selling automatons, stop breaking the law by pressuring employees to work when they're sick.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores

    Pros

They are focused on growth in its employees and feels like they are dedicated to making sure everyone understands there job. Flexible with schedules and family matters.. the bonuses and discounts are awesome as well!

    Cons

Even thought they want everyone to learn sometimes all of pressure is put on the associates to make sales. They can feel like they are more concerned with the numbers more than the people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees different selling styles. A lot of the woman that work here also have shopped here prior to employment. Everyone's shopping and selling styles are different.

    Bad experience

    Current Employee - Cashier
    Current Employee - Cashier

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time

    Pros

They provide a lot of training and instruction. Good pay. Decent discounts.

    Cons

Never given hours. The way the schedule you is really inconvenient and they never end up using your on-calls. They expect too much out of you for a basic retail job. As a cashier, I shouldn't have to spend 2+ hours closing. That's another part that sucks.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't over hire and then not give any out any hours.
