    Pros

    fun team members
    great management
    retail experience
work with the public-- great customer service experience

    Cons

retail can be hard and annoying at times
working with the public can be bad because of thieves
long period of time on your feet

    Advice to Management

i would switch up the roles more and have more people learning more positions because it can get pretty boring when doing one thing for your entire shift

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores

    Pros

Gratis products, the amazing smell of the store, seeing lots of pretty women

    Cons

The unbearable hours with short breaks and too much standing. The superiors can be very condescending and relentless

    Advice to Management

Pay should be much higher, especially when you're charging $8-$15 for a pair of flimsy underwear

    Pros

Good environment. Company provides many perks. Especially during a new bra launch or holidays. My store in particular provided a flexible schedule

    Cons

Clean up can take hours after closing. Continuous proper training in not provided after the initial first meeting. You're left to learn on your own with limits you from providing the correct customer service or growing with in the store. Managers can pick favorites to train more.

    Pros

Store I work for the associates are awesome, they all work as a team/family. Good discount if you are one of the Victoria's Secret's fan.

    Cons

Managers seem to play favor a lot, only promoted people that they like, a lot of communication problem between each other.
When you have "call-in" shift, is annoying because sometime you can't plan anything for the day, if they don't need you, it feel like you wasted a whole day just sit around at home for nothing when you can do something else to enjoy your life.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This company truly is a pleasure to work for. They have great benefits and really give back to their employees within merchandise discounts and free gratis items every month to help educate all associates to new product to provide personal testimony to customers.

    Cons

Flexibility of a personal life is sometimes compromised due to updated floor set releases and working holiday hours during numerous times throughout the year.

    Pros

Helping women feel great Great team within the store. Great discount and gratis gifts.

    Cons

Run down store in a run down mall and shoppers would rather go to the bigger, better mall where they can shop more stores. Things are broken and home office will not approve or does not care about the appearance of the store. Company is all over the place with making decisions about SPAH and position changes.

    Advice to Management

Look at under lying issues instead of the surface. Get to know your teams, instead of just caring if you bonus or not. Follow through to get things fixed. Snobbish attitude doesn't reflect well. Get in the store to sell once in awhile to understand the challenges your teams face.
