    Pros

Fun environment to work in. Floorsets were always a good time. As an associate support associate I got to work in the stock room most of the time, but would also work with customers on the floor when replenishing so it was a nice mix of work

    Cons

Some late nights when working floorsets, but that was maybe once a month.

  3. Wonderful company, terrible upper management.

    I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time

    Pros

Amazing product Competitive pay Benefits Great growth opportunities Great company to work for and a good place to build lasting professional relationships.

    Cons

Terrible upper management. No accountability and only on the salesfloor when they feel like it. They take sales and segments based on how it will make them look. The District Manager (not the current one) played favorites and did not hold SM accountable. Unethical situations going on.

    Advice to Management

Act like a leader and your team will follow.

I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place to grow and have as a career.

    Cons

Sales persons now make more than the managers because of commission. So if the store does not make goal the managers make nothing but the sales associates still make thousands a month. Huge flaw in the system.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your store is close to making bonuses before you sign up

    I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores full-time

    Pros

Great discounts and first bids on new items. Good knowledge on female body.

    Cons

They don't disclose that they search your account you have with them. They will fire you over $20 reward card you let a friend use with your credit card.

    Advice to Management

Disclose all information to your employees what you look into. That's invading privacy.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent associate rapport. Great discounts. Incentive to sell.

    Cons

Management gets burnt out on workload and understaffing. Not enough recognition from operations manager.

    Advice to Management

Give your staff adequate recognition for jobs well done and under lots of change. If you're unhappy in your job, create an action plan to turn things around as to not effect the rest of the staff.

I have been working at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pros - job was fast paced, product speaks for itself. It was nice to see the newer products come out behind the scenes. You received I think 30-40% off items but they'd let you buy special it's super cheap every now and then. Back when the bombshell bra first came out employees could buy 1 for only $15.

    Cons

Cons - holiday season in retail. Customers are what makes working in retail a negative experience. They can be very inconsiderate and create large unnecessary messes with the clothing.

    Advice to Management

I really enjoyed working for Victoria's Secret. I would have stayed with the company longer but I moved and transferred to a much smaller location and ended up only getting like 4 hours a week so I had to find something different.

    I worked at Victoria's Secret Stores part-time

    Pros

Free bra's usually monthly, fun atmosphere

    Cons

Terrible pay, discount only 30%, when allowed to choose free bras you can only pick white, black or nude, never enough hours. Also did not get paid enough to deal with shoplifters who seemed to always cause a scene.

    Advice to Management

Management would always make sales associates deal with shoplifters instead of dealing with the problem themselves when it would get out of hand and the customers would start to make a scene.
