Vignette VPS Consultant in Austin, TX:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Good pay, benefits. Bright and cooperative co-workers, dedicated 'lower' management. Everyone tries hard but the best people seem to leave relatively quickly.

Cons

Disorganized, extremely poor training for VPS, dishonest with clients. Their software is an absolute nightmare to work with, especially with the minimal training you get.

Advice to Senior Management

Sr. Management is out of touch with the product. The product is out-dated and basically irrelevant. The company is very lucky to still be around.

Vignette Sales Consultant in Austin, TX:   (Past Employee - 2008)

Pros

the potential to make money is always there, provided you don't get caught up with the fact that the company is losing money and market share so fast, you wonder why you are still there.

Cons

there is far too much politics involved to comfortably do your job. You have to pick and choose a group of people to side with, and hope they stick with you throughout your job, otherwise, it gets very dirty.

Advice to Senior Management

i would advise them to understand that they are not their for fat checks, but are there to provide a structured guidance to the team at hand. There is no internal communication and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. this is management's issue
