I worked at VillaSport full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Upbeat environment and can use gym. Nice, new facility.

    Cons

Job duties and expectations confusing and unclear given by general manager. Very little administrative support given for a large team of employees you personally manage.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to be very direct with Managers on how the work is to be performed and the expectations of workload. Have an administrative assistant for any manager that has over 25 direct reports.

    I worked at VillaSport part-time

    Pros

Get a free membership, a lot of laid back coworkers and the job could be fun if you make it fun

    Cons

Having to stay in the locker rooms for hours at a time, the management was unfair at times

    Advice to Management

Treat all of the employees fairly and equally, be more involved in the work and helping the employees instead of telling them what to do

    Pros

New company, allowing you to have a larger influence on the company then you would working at a company that has been already established for many years.

    Cons

Lots of problems arise in new companies as they grow but I feel that these can be solved as the company grows.

    Advice to Management

    Allow more flexibility

    Cons

Been here 5 years and am only making one dollar more than when I started. Upper management are micromanaging this company, corporate don't have any faith in their department directors. Multi million dollar company but the pay is terrible for the work we do!
