I have been working at Visma full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - interesting work especially if working on the backend integration platform since the company is strongly focused on developing their cloud computing infrastrucutre and SaaS platform
    - new technologies encouraged and trainings/conferences also
    - flexible hours
    - good management so far
    - skilled and friendly colelagues; I always find somebody I can ask for help
    - central office

    Cons

Not enugh team building activities. The team is distributed in multiple countries and it would be nice if we could see each other face to face more than once a year.
Company has grown a lot in the last 2 years. As a result
    - offices have become more crowded

I have been working at Visma full-time

    Pros

Great colleagues. Thrives especially with the entrepreneurial culture and that it is a flat organization. Also think that Visma has an ability to mix senior managers but still manages to give more junior employees to take the next step within the organization.

    Cons

Some customers and possibles employees don't know what our services and our culture are.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep up the good work!

I have been working at Visma full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Quite flexible hours.
    Nice offices.
Good experience for pwople new in the field. There are certifications for the entry-level jobs and encourage inside trainings as well.
Depending on the team, some managers are laid-back and have a relaxed communication. Others are trying to create a team of efficient robots.

    Cons

Management is distant and good working people are often ignored. Employees are boxes instead of people.
The experienced good people start leaving the company because mediocrity starts to be encouraged.
Not enough trainings for high-level experienced people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more involved with the people.
Invest in quality trainings to motivate the good proffessionals.

    - Bad focus on potential markets.

    - Slow and poor product innovation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop replacing your best people with in-experienced cheap labor from Poland and Spain. Focus on Social media and potential markets outside of Scandinavia.
