    Pros

Disorganised, matrix -environment means you learn a lot of stuff outside your core competency.

Disorganised, matrix -environment means your career progression and sleep suffers especially if you are in the offshore team. 80 hour weeks (including working till 2am) plus commuting time is the norm.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Vistaar Technologies full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There no PROS associated with this company which I can say explicitly.
Even the smaller start-Up firms have much more PROS compared to this company

    Cons

    -Outdated VBA technology
-Need to work on weekends without Comp-Off
-Appraisal is purely based on relationship with Manager
-No Pricing Analytic work.Only and Only excel based pricing with embedded excel formulas.
    -Fake Pricing Analysis in excel
-No bonus or even a gift is given in Diwali to employees considering small employee size
-Very minimal increment and increment is also based on Companies performance not only individual performance
    -No employee engagement policies
-HR does not care if employees are dissatisfied with companies culture.policies.They are just doing recruitment job.
-No grievances of employees are heard
    -Pure autocratic attitude
-You need to stretch beyond 9 hours daily to get task done
-Managers use Slang language to get task done

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Change your autocracy
-Remove inefficient Managers who just do Status Update role rather than Leadership Role
    -Change HR policy

I have been working at Vistaar Technologies full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Free lunch and evening snacks (although you will start disliking the taste within few days)
    - Decent salary.

    Cons

    - Work becomes boring after some months as they use outdated technologies, no design patterns / frameworks used, everything is Vistaar Product-specific.
    - NO CAREER GROWTH (except if you're Business Analyst / Manual Tester / Tech-support)
    - Worse higher management & employee relations
    - Poor work-life balance. Have to work long hours and on weekends. Complain and they say they're already planning to stop this (since 18th century)
    - Politics & bucket-passing among team members (very very disappointing).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Update company policies and listen to employees.
    - Stop autocracy.
    - Don't give any increments in salary who do not give 100% and give that amount to those who put extra-efforts.
    - Hire people with better professional attitude. Keep an HR round and give them scenarios to know how they'll behave in different situations.
    - Use latest technologies. The product will become stable and employees will not feel insecure about their future after joining here.

I worked at Vistaar Technologies full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Not a single PRO which I can mention relentlessly here.

    Cons

    - Worst company I have worked in my 7 years of professional career
     - Initially, during Interview, they will talk about big things like BI Tools, Predictive Intelligence,
       Price Optimization, Pricing Analytic, etc.
But reality is they don't work on any technology other than "MICROSOFT EXCEL"
    - Microsoft excel is their Bread and Butter for building their so called pricing software
    - These people use Outdated excel based technology which has no market value.
    - Pure Autocratic attitude by top management
    - Zero professionalism - People here shout, scream as if sitting on Last bench of college between cubicles for communication.
On eve of birthdays people grabs cake pieces to compensate their cake contribution with larger share.
    - Poor HR Management which nods "YES" on every decision of management having no points to put forward
    - Very political environment- You need to keep your manager always happy for getting good appraisal.
There is no measure of hard work and dedication
    - Managers use "SLANG" language with developers under stressful conditions to get work done.
This is vice-verse. Ideally manager should relieve stress of developers
    - Worst working hours and no work-life balance here
    - All profit sharing is kept in companies bank balance. No investment in employee reward programs.
    - Testing team gets annoyed by testing same module again and again.Still the module gives bugs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

First try to Optimize your so called 'Vistaar Pricing Product' and make it stable
and then go for Price Optimization!!
