    Well run company

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsWell run company run by smart people. Company is growing slower than it once was, but won't settle for slower growth.

ConsExecutive team manages company out of Europe for some reason although most functions are run out of its Boston office.

    Love this place

Human Resources (Current Employee) Lexington, MA

    ProsCareer development

Lateral and vertical opportunities for growth - great people managers and mentors throughout the middle management and leadership team

Amazing culture- energetic colleagues, we all learn from each other. I've never worked with such intelligent coworkers who are open to sharing their knowledge and developing others

ConsShifting priorities / strategy, however if you are building your career and love a dynamic environment, the changes create opportunities for you to grow and challenge yourself

Advice to Senior ManagementContinue to build and value internal talent

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Formerly a great environment, now a political circus

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Lexington, MA

ProsVery smart people, lots of young talent, you can learn a lot from everyone - in your function or elsewhere

ConsPolitics and reorgs destabilize the company more than management will ever understand. They eat away the core of Vistaprint business - the values it's been founded on. by now The Values are a laughing stock to anyone who's not a brand new employee.

Advice to Senior ManagementBad decisions have to be recognized faster and better be undone than stuck to. Curtail the parachuting of Staples execs, or pretty soon they will turn Vistaprint into another Staples.

Amazing Place for a Marketing Internship

Marketing Associate (Former Employee) Lexington, MA

ProsFor Intern: Great visibility into the decision-making process, treated like a full employee rather than just a part-time intern, will give you the correct amount of real-world experience without overwhelming you with the workload, will not give you "busy-work" as some other internships do.

In General: Awesome company culture - polo and jeans is acceptable attire and there are lot's of young, fun people who like to hang out with each other in and out of work; Also, most of the managers support a flexible schedule and allow you to come and go as you please without dealing with taking PTO hours unless you're taking a full day off

ConsNo full-time offer guarentee, unsure about the company's future as the world goes digital and print, specifically business cards, become less popular...

A good company with growing pains

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsVistaprint is a stable, billion dollar company that is shifting focus to the customer after years of neglecting the user experience in favor of quick profits. Finally this is being addressed. They provide very good compensation and a flexible work environment.

ConsFor two years now we've experienced mid-level management confusion, and have weathered constant re-orgs. There is a lack of visible leadership. While I have respect for the top-level management, there is a lack of clear top down management.

Smart people, but too much process and hidden politics

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsVery smart people. If you're analytical and data driven, you'll get exposed to lots of new ways of looking at the business. Free drinks and food every Friday afternoon.

ConsToo much process in everything. Even something as simple as filling out an employee survey has a process that you must follow for completing the survey. Great for young people that haven't been exposed to other company cultures. Not so great if you have any enterpreneurial inclinations or like to do things fast.

The hidden politics were unbelieveable. It was like a soap opera with people complaining to senior managers about another person without discussing the issues with that person first. With all these smart people there were also lots of high maintenance personalities.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe open to evolving the culture and changing the senior managers that have been there forever.

    Good company to work for.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsYoung professionals and dynamic culture

ConsSome departments the managers are not so good so the attrition is really high.
