I worked at Vita Coco (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company to work for. Everyone is very smart and good at what they do. Best of all you have a lot of say in decisions being made and opportunities to really be part of innovations and new projects.

    Cons

As with any company the workload can be large at times but it changes with the seasonality.

I worked at Vita Coco part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun work, lots of fun events and people you get to meet. The position is very fast paced and lets you think on your feet without too much intervening of upper management.

    Cons

Can be odd hours, and is mostly weekend work. Sometimes requires you to drive your car which can get dirty with the infrastructure.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes the event description is very vague, making it hard to plan ahead or know what to expect when showing up at an event. Better planning in these areas would make this more organized.

I have been working at Vita Coco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Sales management is clueless, so at least they don't know whats going on

    Cons

Not many. Its one fire drill after another. They blame employees because numbers are soft

    Advice to Management

Get some managers in here who can lead. We have one manager who can lead today, but his boss is an absolute blowhard

    Pros

A fun, collaborative company to work for. There is plenty of opportunity to create innovate strategies to increase customer loyalty. Management is extremely supportive and encouraging.

    Cons

Marketing is an as needed basis. I loved what I was doing for them as far as promoting Vita Coco on a college campus. However, they terminated the program across the country due to the increase in sales in the target market.
