Pros – Good training and learning experience. Many long nights, but the skills of a cable tech are transferable to any Telecom company
Cons – The company changes policies and procedures a lot. I guess that is the downside of working for a contractor of Comcast.
Advice to Senior Management – Become a tech focused company. Everyone needs a job and we are willing to work. Please try harder to balance the company and employee needs.
Pros – The only pro thing about working here was that I already knew the job and didn't need training.
Cons – No attention to safety issues. Long hours at minimum wage pay. Poor management lack of communication amongst teams.
Advice to Senior Management – Provide training for new techs. Provide safety equipment when it comes to climbing telephone poles.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – A lot of flexibility and no micromanagement.
Cons – In my position I am on call 24/7.
Advice to Senior Management – Management is solid here.
