Current Employee – been working at Viterra Canada full-time for more than a year
Pros – It ticks the compensation box.
Cons – There is no inspiring leadership; it's micro-managing at its finest. If you work in a support group, (IT, marketing, comms, ,etc.) be prepared to be treated with disdain. In the minds of the business groups, your area doesn't bring in money to support the org, so you have no real value.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop running your business like it's 1985. The world has moved on in many ways, you should too.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Viterra Canada
Pros – In all fairness we were just bought out by Viterra and haven't seen any change in the last year.
Cons – They have changed nothing for the positive that I see on the maintenance side.
Advice to Senior Management – You completely have forgotten that ants build the hill, not the Queen.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Viterra Canada
Pros – Good benefits and opportunities for advancement.
Cons – Management is lacking in training on how to actually manage people. Sometimes you get lucky with a great boss and the next job can be an absolute nightmare.
Advice to Senior Management – Remember that people do not leave bad jobs, they leave bad managers.
