    Pros

Great management. Allow a far degree of flexibility in decision making. Leaders are interested in employees and make every effort to resolve issues quickly/

    Cons

Like every company, asking staff to be more efficient and do more with less. Losing a bit of direction fro senior management.

    Pros

    It ticks the compensation box.

    Cons

There is no inspiring leadership; it's micro-managing at its finest. If you work in a support group, (IT, marketing, comms, ,etc.) be prepared to be treated with disdain. In the minds of the business groups, your area doesn't bring in money to support the org, so you have no real value.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop running your business like it's 1985. The world has moved on in many ways, you should too.

    Pros

In all fairness we were just bought out by Viterra and haven't seen any change in the last year.

    Cons

They have changed nothing for the positive that I see on the maintenance side.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Good benefits and opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

Management is lacking in training on how to actually manage people. Sometimes you get lucky with a great boss and the next job can be an absolute nightmare.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember that people do not leave bad jobs, they leave bad managers.
