    Pros

Company has great values that it governs itself on. Executives have an open door policy and your ideas are listened to.Never a dull moment.

    Cons

Can be some long hours at the office. Development team is slow to hire new people which pushes dates on projects. Support needs more bodies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more developers for the core products so we can push products out more efficiently.

Lots of good hires to address areas of the company that are growing
Fun and Family culture. People are appreciated for their work on a regular basis by the Exec Team

I have been working at Vivonet full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great culture, good people, smart company. A working environment without any of the big company paranoia that breeds fear and distrust within organizations that lose focus on their biggest asset - their people.

    Cons

The company has seen some growing pains as it experiences accelerated growth and could provide real challenges if they don't adapt quickly enough.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lose focus on the 3 most important pillars of success - customer, innovation and nimbleness - as you transition from a development/ software company to a sales company (which is inevitable). Also, the company needs to break out of the mentality of a small company to global leader as what seems like a monumental task today could be a simple task already performed by other companies in different industries (use best practices, leverage existing technology and partners, etc.)

I have been working at Vivonet full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Open atmosphere where Executives, Management, and Staff are all willing to help any colleague at any time from any department.
Company vision is shared with everyone and new ideas are welcomed.
Departmental and customer results are shared weekly through a casual, company-wide meeting so everyone stays up-to-date.
Recognizing fellow co-workers through "shout outs" is a regular (and fun) part of weekly meetings.

    Cons

Still lacking solid processes in multiple areas and many things still require much manual effort.
Inefficiencies cause some departments and individuals to get stretched thin or bottleneck which impacts others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Focus on improving processes.

I have been working at Vivonet full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Some great people that really care about their work- although most of them have left or are in the process of leaving

    Cons

Some of the biggest egos you will see from an executive team ( especially considering this company has NEVER turned a profit)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a good long look in the mirror, the company's problems stem from you. Successes we have had are in spite of your inept management

I have been working at Vivonet full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Lots of growth and lots of potential to grow even faster
    - Company values = happy employees (high sat scores) = happy customers (high sat scores)
    - Market is going through a lot of change means lots of new opportunities (and challenges)

    Cons

    - With lots of growth sometimes means that resources are spread too thin, systems are in "catch up mode" and processes are lagging. Employees need to be adaptable to thrive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Focus on execution and limit distractions. Sometimes saying "no" is OK.
    - Keep adding good people
