I have been working at Vocelli Pizza part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Money in your pocket everyday as a driver. Always an interested day, great coworkers. Management really cares about the business and employees. Fast paced, never boring.

    Cons

Base pay of non-driving jobs are low, but to be expecting in this industry. Not a lot of chances to move up, as there aren't a lot of positions to fill. If you drive, as any delivery job, it beats up your car. Not specific to Vocelli's, just the job in general.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, no comments on advice.

I worked at Vocelli Pizza part-time

    Pros

Good food, teamwork, fun to drive around

    Cons

Hot ovens, always have to either wash a lot of dishes or sweep & mop floors. You tend to get stuck doing whichever one you pick. Old, tricky phone & computer system (as of last year) so it can be hard to take orders. Potholes ruin your suspension.

I worked at Vocelli Pizza part-time

    Pros

I could get away with murder at this location

    Cons

Incompotant staff, and management who only had conversations revolving around drugs and alcohol. Nobody would work, orders would get out up to an hour late. The employees and management were just a bunch of lazy liars. There's so much more..m

    Advice to Management

    Sell the store

  8. Good pizza delivery gig.

    Pros

Daily cash from tips and a dollar per delivery, 6.00 hourly (in and out of store.) great if u like driving. Team work can be fun. Fun interacting with customers.

    Cons

You'll wear your car out and will need to do frequent oil changes and tire upkeep. If people don't tip well you won't be happy. And it's a considerably dangerous job (possibility of being robbed or having an accident)

    Advice to Management

Lower the price of the food and raise driving compensation if possible

  9. Worked as driver and had the best co-workers I've ever had

I worked at Vocelli Pizza full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Vocelli Pizza, at least at the one I worked at, had great people. Working the day shift I had full ability to work on what ever I wanted during the day besides doing some deliveries and a few side responsibilities. I had to get used to the idea of doing personal stuff during work hours (as I'm sort of a hard butt), but I got used to it and it is very nice being able to be productive both in work and personal items.

    Cons

There is an obvious risk in the fact that you are using your car and something bad could happen to it. The other downside which would apply to anybody who is not very flexible is that either you are going to work 12+ hours that day or 4. The restaurant is open from 11 to 11 and so somebody needs to work the day and it would be unfair if they didn't get to work the night after working a slow day.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you always have 2 or more drivers per restaurant that are willing to work during the day. 12 hours back to back more than four times in a row is going to make drivers disappear. If you have three drivers who are willing that means that if you loose one you still have 2, vs holding at 2 and then only having 1 and soon there after 0. If you share drivers across restaurants you will have even more flexibility. Have each driver know two areas.

    Cons

    No benefits and low paying

I have been working at Vocelli Pizza part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible, great work environment. Makes it as fun as possible to earn some extra money. They do a good job making sure there is enough work to make it worth it without making drivers crazy.

    Cons

Since this is a franchise, some pizza shops may be more fun then others to work in. It is hard on your car. Consider extra pay for really far deliveries.

    Advice to Management

    None.
