    Pros

They hire you quickly for customer support , low salaries . They give food allowance daily . Nice atmosphere and building .

They never promote you if you are over 27 years old. They lie to you in contract .Friendship and who you know is what makes you promoted

    Advice to Management

Change the way you promote people . Dont let exutive managment take the role of HR

    Pros

Best people in company to work with lots of cross experience brought together. Easy to upgrade your skills and qualification via academy learning

    Cons

It is very easy for you to lose focus and specialisation because you are working across some many different platforms.

    Advice to Management

    Great job

    Pros

The company has a exceptional foot print in the telecoms market and has a great image in South Africa as one of the Top 10 companies to work for

    Cons

The management has disconnected itself from the employees, as a result employees feel detached from the company but need to work.

    Advice to Management

Restore company pride within the employees and create a positive, cohesive work environment with Senior management.

    Pros

It was a dynamic and exciting company to work for. We roled out new and exciting technologies truly innovative stuff. Still proud to say I work for Vodacom

    Cons

It's become bureaucratic, not fun or exciting anymore. Each layer in the organisation seem to only care about themselves. We losing the culture that made us great.

    Advice to Management

Working for Vodacom was 90% fun and 10% stress. Now with Vodafone more involved, it's become 90% stress and 10% fun.

  10. Helpful (1)

    Pros

Very good renumeration. Lots of opportunity for self-expression

    Cons

Since Vodacom Way was abandoned for Vodafone Way, corporate culture changed drastically. No longer "vibey". More interest in "bottom-line" than the "people aspect".

    Advice to Management

What happened to Global Company, Local Roots?
