    Pros

good office atmosphere, fair work/personal life, more holidays when compared with simliar companies (30 days), interesting projects, you will meet a number of compentent employees there

    Cons

very difficult to get internal promotions, company is not really facilitating people´s development: not enough training, few international assignments. Office location is not very good for most of the people

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Internal employees should get more focus and promotions rather than bringing external people into management positions

I worked at Vodafone España full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The salary is still better than most of the companies in Spain.
    Employee benefits.
    Work-life balance.

    Cons

The poor quality of leadership (heads and managers): They are not hired (or retained) according to their talent or vision but just to generate profit no matter how they treat the employees. HHRR is aligned to this poor policy.
Rigid company (Spanish style): no trace of the anglosaxon (or even north european) results-oriented way of working. No place to innovate if your head/manager doesn't get the merits.

Hard-making profit market offices (like Spain) is treated by the headquarter like a broken toy instead of investing in innovation and adapting to the new ways of playing the game.

I worked at Vodafone España full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The people is great and the work atmosphere is quite positive. Departments like Marketing and the technical ones have great position in the company and employees are greatly taken cared of.

    Cons

Everything gets done through third parties like Indra or marketing agencies. Everyone at the company "manages" relationships but nothing really gets done internally. It's a highly political environment.
Be prepared to spend way to many hours in work mode. Even if you don't spent more than 9-10 hours at the office the cellphone will not stop receiving emails from your managers.
