    Pros

Treats employees very well, better than the other telcos in the surrounding area.

    Cons

Decision making is hard, very hard for some senior managers.

    Advice to Management

Like a lot of businesses, take a few more risks, less red tape.

    Pros

    Cons

no work, no carrier growth, No help from peer,

    Advice to Management

Don't higher Manager from service based company, if you want it to grow as product based.

    Pros

Great employee policies. Strong brand. Nice incentives and feel good factors.

    Cons

The policies dont get translated in many cases to actual benefits due to poor middle level managers. Too much of shifting around to various cities if you are in Sales and Marketing - wont let you settle in a city.

    Advice to Management

Let people work in verticals they are good at, dont just rotate them just for the sake of it. People with families need to start building roots in a city, shifting around frequently doesnt help.

    Pros

Entry level for Dutch speakers to start in Dublin. The company tries to make the switch of country as smooth as possible. There is engagement with the employees.

    Cons

Long term development is difficult due to the high focus on hitting sales numbers. As Teletech is a vendor for other companies, it's hard to grow internally as well, since you are stuck with working for a certain client. Short term however, it's great to work there.

    Advice to Management

Not much really, since it's focus is on hitting sales numbers, there is not that much which you can change at the moment. The work at least wasn't too hard and work pressure is fine.

  6. Self centred, no team focus - watch your own back

    Pros

50% off phones. Ok work from home policy - which basically means the office is empy of friday, and can't find a desk on a Tuesday.

    Cons

Self-centred bonus scheme leads to everyone for themselves - as you're measured against your piers.
Managers are looking upwards struggling with competing with their own piers. Expect little support.
Everyone for themselves - if you know this when you start you'll survive better.
    No one stays long.

    Advice to Management

Create a better team environment, and bonus scheme to prevent back stabbing and undermining of achievements.

    Pros

Vodafone gives me opportunities to do interesting and challenging work

    Cons

The desire to attract the best talent is not matched with the best rewards.

    Advice to Management

In many cases you already have some of the best talent, you need to provide clear direction to be able to get the best out of them.
