I worked at Vodafone as a contractor

    Pros

I was on contract with no extra benefits

    Cons

I was not paid for delays/overtime which were caused by VF nor did I get my expenses although I was promised an amount for travel and phone calls

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The manager I dealt with made a lot of promises re: payments and expenses that she was either not in a position to make in the first place or that she ultimately decided not to fulfil. This ruined what was an otherwise enjoyable project.

    Pros

Career opportunities, young and ambitious colleagues, lots of opportunities and challenges.
Very intense internal culture, empowering employees to be at their best, regardless the role or seniority.
Huge investments in developing high potentials (both junior - graduates - as more senior).
    International mobility quite common.
International environment (if based in UK especially).
Flexible working (home based/part-time) that determines a good work-life balance.
