High Tech Company with good mutual support among people

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsStress technical performance with almost no political. Most management are hand-on persons; Super product flow to guarantee chip quality

ConsProduct lines are not broad enough; Number of customers are limited; Often product sales depend on just a few, and if missing one customer's one generation of machine, it could result in consequence.

Advice to Senior ManagementApply the technology to broad product lines.

    Great company and nice culture

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Fremont, CA

ProsBecause this company is small, you're able to make good contributions and the executive staff noticed that. Their benefits is pretty good and they have sabbatical after 10 years of working. Also, their hours are flexible. As long you finish your work and you could actually work from home.

ConsBecause of the small size, a lot of employees have to wear several hats. Also this company is being bought by a fortune 1000 large company. A lot of employees could be lay off.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of the employees!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Working at Volterra

    Anonymous (Former Employee) Fremont, CA

ProsEngineers are well educated, younger and focused on their niche area of work. Company have competitive technology in semiconductor process which allow for integration of power semi with logic level design. Being small not too many layers of management.

ConsRelartively small company, sometimes limited chance for career growth, limited range of product types.
