    I worked at W5 Staff Services

    Pros

    Coordinators / supervisors were relatively hands off.
    Pay rate was competitive compared to other dispatch companies.
    Any issues with schools were dealt with quickly.

    Cons

    Lack of any sort of paid time off, excluding sick days with a doctor's excuse.
    Employees were not treated as if they were necessary or valued by upper management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Remember that even though half of your employees are relatively inexperienced at their job, this is not a reason to apply negative company policies to all employees when more experienced employees are not having problems.

    Pros

    Straight and honest presentation of job responsibilities and compensation.
    No constant meetings to 'increase performance' or 'motivation'.
    The senior admin is 100% direct and speaks his mind. This makes it easy to be aware of your standing in the company.
    Japanese staff and western trainers are very friendly and easy to speak with.

    Cons

    No advancement opportunities.
    No benefits.
    No salary increase.
    No insurance.
    The senior admin, while very efficient, sometimes leaps to conclusions raising a need to re-explain a situation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen a little more carefully before cutting off an employee and giving your answer. Your communication is sometimes a little too strong.
