    Pros

Agency environment Friday office meetings are happy hours Partners are nice and talented Decent benefits Great bonuses if profits are good that year

    Cons

Not enough new jobs coming in The marketing department isn't generating new business Marketing department lacks organization, the management lacks competency in leadership and their field of expertise Lack of real ongoing performance evaluation Lack of clear training within the marketing department Only one market sector served

    Advice to Management

Do an internal talent/staff audit, particularly in the marketing department for core competencies in marketing (writing, having style guides, etc.)

A friendly and respectful group of people. Work is good, but moving up can be difficult.

I have been working at WDG Architecture PLLC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-People here are very nice and respectful -The work load varies, but is generally stress-free. -As long as you put your time in, "clock-in" and "clock-out" times are flexible.

    Cons

-Salary is relatively low compared to other architecture firms around. -Moving up in this company is very difficult and can take a very long time.

    Advice to Management

Personal growth is key to a successful company. Recently, many "Staff Architects" have left the firm because of low salary, limited opportunities to work in different stages of a project, and no room to grow in the company. I recommend that all three of these negative aspects should be looked at and seriously considered to be improved.
